The National Oil and Gas Authority (NOGA) announced the availability of 98 Octane Super fuel in the domestic market for those customers who wish to use this high-quality type of fuel.

The number of service stations providing the Super fuel has recently increased, with the addition of two service stations - Al Buhair in Riffa and Tubli along Isa Bin Salman Avenue, in addition to the current service stations offering this type of fuel - Busaiteen Station, Formula 1 Station and Sanabis Station, bringing the number of service stations providing the 98 Octane Super fuel for customers to five stations.

These service stations are geographically distributed all over the Governorates of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Additionally, the Super fuel will also be available in three more new stations in various locations around the Kingdom during this year, which will be announced at a later stage.

The Super fuel launch is as part of the ongoing dedicated efforts of NOGA to ensure the availability of this new product to a large number of customers in collaboration with the Bahrain Petroleum Company (BAPCO) in order to fulfill the needs of high-performance vehicles which require the 98 Octane Super fuel.

The new product is also in line with the latest and most advanced technologies which aim at improving the efficiency of fuel consumption to cope with the fast-growing advancements in newer automobile models of high quality and specifications

The Super fuel is characterised by its high quality, which contributes to limiting environmental detriments ensuing from fuel combustion. This fuel is a valued addition to the other types of gasoline currently available in the local market, and is also looked upon as an advanced third option for customers after Mumtaz and Jayyid.

The 98 Octane Super fuel will be sold at an unfixed price in accordance with global fuel prices. The price will be reviewed on a regular basis by a panel consisting of representatives from NOGA and BAPCO, noting that the Super fuel pricing is not linked to the prices of Mumtaz (95 Octane) and Jayyid (91 Octane).
