Minister of Oil meets Global Health Safety and Environment Conference Delegation

Minister of Oil His Excellency Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa received in his office at the National Oil and Gas Authority (NOGA) Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Chief Executive Officer of Bahrain National Gas (Banagas), Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the 4th Global Health Safety and Environment (HSE) Conference and an accompanying delegation. The Banagas CEO presented to the Minister HSE 2017 conference organising committee members Mr. Abhimanyu Singh and Mr. Rajeev Bansal; Mr. Vipin Joseph of ICONEX, the sponsor company of the event and Mr. Ahmed Khalil, HSE & Fire Manager of Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco). The meeting was attended by Dr. Ahmed Ali Al Sharyan, General Secretary of NOGA and Mr. Ali Abdul Jabar Al Sawad, General Manager, Strategies and Planning Affairs.

The Minister praised the Chairman and HSE delegation for their efforts to make the conference a great success. The event will be held under the patronage of H.E. Shaikh Mohammed from April 17 to 19, 2017 in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Dr. Shaikh Mohammed made a detailed presentation of the conference preparations so far and regulatory matters concerning the global event. They discussed with the Minister the conference program, including a number of technical papers to be presented during the event. They reviewed facilities provided by the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain, latest technologies to be showcased by international oil companies in the oil services sector and international delegations to participate.

The Minister said the government of Bahrain was keen to ensure the success of the global event. The Kingdom would provide all assistance to make it highly effective. He wished the event organizers success in achieving their desired goals, great networking opportunities as well as information and expertise sharing scenarios for professionals and other oil and gas sector enthusiasts.

Dr. Shaikh Mohammed thanked the Minister on behalf of the delegation, expressing his gratitude and appreciation to H. E. Shaikh Mohammed for his patronage of the conference and the warm reception extended to the HSE delegation. He expressed gratitude for the generous support offered to conferences and exhibitions held in Bahrain by the government, earning the country the reputation of being a global hub for organizing international events.
