Minister of Energy receives Bahrain Society of Engineering Petroleum Section Members

Minister of Energy His Excellency Dr. Abdul Hussain bin Ali Mirza received in his office at the National Oil and Gas Authority (NOGA) on Wednesday, March 2, members of the Petroleum Section of the Bahrain Society of Engineers (BSE), headed by Mr. Hisham Zubari, Deputy CEO of Tatweer Petroleum. The Minister welcomed the delegation members and gave them a visual presentation of the national energy strategy for the Kingdom of Bahrain. He also discussed the current and future plans of the BSE Petroleum Section.

H.E. Dr. Mirza praised the efforts of the members in contributing to the dissemination of knowledge and the promotion of relevant petroleum disciplines to the younger generations. Eng Zubari presented a memento to the Minister in recognition of his ongoing support.

The Society of Engineers is a non-profit organization founded in 1957. It is the largest organization serving oil and gas industry managers, engineers, scientists and related professionals all over the world. The development of oil and gas sector is in the heart of the mission and the vision of BSE. The organization consists of more than 124,000 members across 135 countries The BSE, was officially registered as a non-governmental organization by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Bahrain on April 15, 2015 with more than 100 members.
