H.E.
Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa, Minister of Oil, congratulated the Eng.
Audah Al Ahmadi for his certification by the Board Chairman and members of the
4th Gulf Refining Federation and his appointment as the Secretary
General of the Gulf Refining Federation; wishing him success and that this
appointment will contribute in promoting greater cooperation between the
investment industries, institutions and authorities, and raising the efficiency
of the employees in this vital sector in the refining field at the (GCC)
countries; in addition to promoting the
petroleum position to grow the global
economy.
H.E.
the Minister stressed the keenness of the Kingdom of Bahrain on the successful
establishment of these specialized entities on its territory; and the provision
of the necessary support and assistance; in order to achieve the desired
objectives of these non-profit institutions that serve to enhance the cooperation
and coordination; in addition to exchanging views on the oil and gas market
conditions, providing communication opportunities, exchanging information and
expertise for the specialists and those interested, and developing the future
of the oil and gas sector.
In a related context, H.E. Dr. Ahmed Ali Al
Sharyan, the Secretary General of the National Oil and Gas Authority (NOGA), commended
the biography of the Eng. Audah Al Ahmadi, the new Secretary General of the Gulf
Refining Federation, which is full of accumulated experience of nearly thirty-five
years in the oil and gas sector in a number of global oil companies, such as
Petromin, Smark, and Saudi Aramco; in addition to chairing several world
petroleum conferences, including the Middle East Process Engineering Conference
and Exhibition for 2013 and 2015. in addition to a number of professional and
charity associations. Furthermore, His Excellency praised the efforts
made by the oil companies in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for the
establishment of this Federation, which aspires everyone to achieve the
strategic objectives yearned by the founders and the Gulf oil companies in
strengthening the leadership of the GCC countries in the field of refining and
expanding the regional and global relations network with all the refining
industry poles; wishing them success in the Federation’s scientific and
practical journey.
For
his part, H.E. the Secretary General of the Gulf Refining Federation Eng. Audah
Al Ahmadi expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to H.E. the Minister of
Oil Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa for his support and assistance for
the Federation and his keenness on promoting the Federation’s role in
attracting investments and events specialized in the refining field; in
addition to encouraging the establishment of oil companies and other companies
that serve the oil and gas sector in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). Furthermore,
he praises the support and encouragement provided by the National Oil & Gas
Authority and its continuous logistical support that enhances its position in
strengthening the relations between the oil companies establishing it.
