Minister of Energy patronises ‘Power Within’ Conference

Under the patronage of Minister of Energy His Excellency Dr. Abdul Hussain bin Ali Mirza the ‘2^nd Power Within’ conference was held in the Kingdom of Bahrain. In order to discuss the conference preparation organizers Origin Group met H.E. Dr. Mirza in his NOGA office. The Origin delegation was led by Mr. Ahmed Al Banna Chief Executive of Origin Group and Chairman of the Conference Organizing Committee. They discussed the conference details with the Minister in the presence of NOGA General Secretary Dr. Ahmed Ali Al Sharyan and General Manager of Strategies and Planning Mr. Ali A. Jabar Al Sawad.

The theme of the 2^nd Power Within conference, ‘Creativity at Work’, was discussed at the meeting. The event held at The Ritz Carlton, Bahrain on January 18, 2016, was attended by international mind-map expert and innovative thinker Tony Buzan who will speak about creative thinkers at work.

Mr. Buzan will talk about creation and dissemination of a culture of innovation in the work place in order to raise productivity levels and optimized use of time and resources to help participants improve their creativity in their workplace and their lives.

Mind maps are very powerful learning tools used in work and while brainstorming to solve difficult problems creatively by helping make associations using images. The ultimate benefit of using mind map is that it facilitates analysis and helps remember a topic as a whole.

The Minister had delegated Dr. Al Sharyan to open the conference at the Ritz Carlton hotel. The event was attended by Mr. Al Sawad and a number of government officials of the Kingdom of Bahrain. The conference opened on January 18, 2016 in the presence of more than 300 participants from the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Gulf Cooperation Council and other countries.
