Energy Minister meets MEOS 2017 delegation led by organizing committee chairman

Minister of Energy His Excellency Dr. Abdul Hussain bin Ali Mirza met in his office at the Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) Chairman and members of the Middle East Oil Show (MEOS 2017) Organizing Committee, headed by Mr. Nabil Al Falaj. The meeting was also attended by Dr. Ahmed Ali Al Sharyan, General Secretary of National Oil and Gas Authority (NOGA) Engineer Anwar Khalaf, Advisor to Minister of Energy and MEOS 2017 Technical Committee member.

MEOS will be held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister in March 2017 at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre. The event is being organized by the Society of Petroleum Engineers and All World Exhibitions - Arabian Exhibition Management in coordination with NOGA.

The Minister discussed with the delegation many regulatory issues and promised support. The event is held every two years under the patronage of H.R.H. the Prime Minister of Bahrain. The Minister reviewed the conference program and details of the accompanying exhibition such as participation of international oil companies, who will showcase the latest technology in the oil and gas sector. The MEOS exhibition attracts a large number of international oil giants and oil services companies, with significant participation by senior officials and executives, and other interested parties.
