Oil Minister participates in high-level roundtable at COP29

Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Bin Daina, Minister of Oil and Environment, Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, participated at the high-level roundtable on Turning Ambition into Action: Scaling up Adaptation Finance for Achieving the Global Goal on Adaptation, held on the sidelines of the 29th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP29).
 
The minister highlighted the need to expand climate action through increased funding for adaptation and mitigation efforts, especially for island nations, calling for stronger international support for climate solutions.
 
The roundtable discussions discussed key topics related to scaling up adaptation funding to advance global sustainable development objectives.​
