Oil Minister receives UK ambassador

Dr. Mohamed bin Mubarak Bin Daina, Minister of Oil and Environment, Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, received Roddy Drummond, the outgoing British Ambassador to Bahrain.


The minister commended the ambassador's role in enhancing Bahraini-UK relations in various fields, wishing him success in his future endeavors.


Dr. Bin Daina affirmed the strong relations between the two kingdoms, which are supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa Crown Prince and Prime Minister.


He highlighted the positive outcomes of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister's visit to the UK, which contributed to strengthening cooperation.


Dr. Bin Daina highlighted the agreements and the memorandums of understanding (MoUs) signed between the two countries, noting the importance of the MoU signed on biodiversity between the Supreme Council for Environment (SCE) and the Centre for Environment, Fisheries and Aquaculture Science (Cefas).


He said the MoU will increase the exchange of scientific and technical information, visits, training, research and cooperative projects between the two countries.


The ambassador thanked the minister for his keenness on enhancing cooperation, lauding the development and growth in various oil and environmental projects in Bahrain.​​
