The Minister of Oil participates in the Ministerial session of the Egypt Petroleum Show (EGYPS 2019)

H.E. Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Oil, participated in the ministerial session of the Egypt Petroleum Show (EGYPS 2019), which was held in Cairo, Egypt, under the patronage of H.E. President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, during the period 11-13 February 2019. With a wide participation of international and regional ministers of energy and petroleum and officials of major international and regional petroleum and energy organizations and heads of major global petroleum companies and specialists and interested in this vital sector.

 

H.E. Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Oil, expressed his thanks and appreciation to H.E. Engineer Tariq Al Mulla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources of the Arab Republic of Egypt, for the generous invitation to participate in this important event. Praising H.E., Egypt's tireless efforts towards attracting research investments exploration of petroleum resources in the light of the potential of oil and gas. Noting the implementation of ambitious programs of action to transform Egypt into a regional center for energy and the development of the refining and petrochemical industries. Wishing Egypt every success in its future aspirations to achieve the desired goals.

H.E. the Minister said that this conference and the accompanying exhibition of specialized conferences and exhibitions, is a good opportunity to discuss many topics related to energy security, safety, occupational health, environmental protection and financial affairs as well as opportunities for oil investments.

 

At the ministerial session in which a number of ministers of oil and energy took part, H.E. the Minister addressed future plans for the projects and investments of the Kingdom of Bahrain in this regard, such as the Bahrain Refinery Modernization Project, the new Banagas expansion plant, the oil pipeline project, the liquefied gas harbor and other related projects.

H.E. the Minister of Oil, stressed the keenness of the Kingdom of Bahrain, represented by NOGA, to participate in these specific and distinctive events, which in turn contribute to enriching the dialogues and high-level discussions with many decision-makers and those responsible for the oil, gas and energy sector in oil producing and consuming countries. Discussing ways to enhance cooperation and joint ventures and exchange ideas and experiences in the areas of enhanced joint action for the oil, gas and energy sector development programs in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The Bahraini oil companies affiliated with NOGA participated in the exhibition, which included a pavilion of the Bahrain Petroleum Company (BAPCO) and the Bahrain National Gas Company (Banagas), where President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, had nominated H.E. Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, in opening the accompanying exhibition, in order to see the latest technology and the exchange of information and experience. Where a large number of international companies specializing in the oil sector had participated in this exhibition, such as ExxonMobil, Shell, Total, Schlumberger and other international companies from 13 countries including the Kingdom Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, France, Germany, Italy, the United States of America and other countries of the world.
