Minister meets Exxon Mobil’s delegation

HE Shaikh Mohamed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Oil, has recently met Exxon Mobil’s Vice President for Business Development Dr. John Ardill and Vice President for Middle East Operations Mr. Tahir Humaid.

The meeting was attended also by Mr. James Eastlack, CEO of Tatweer Petroleum Company and Mr. Ghassan Al Muhanna, General Manager Exploration and Petroleum Engineering.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Minister welcomed the Vice President of Exxon Mobil and the attendees, wishing the visit to achieve the desired objectives, thus contributing to strengthening coordination and cooperation between the National Oil and Gas Authority (NOGA) and Exxon Mobil in the field of oil and gas.

Within the framework of the directions and directives of the Supreme Committee for Natural Resources and Economic Security, chaired by HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, the meeting discussed a number of topics related to oil and gas sector and joint cooperation between the two sides.

Exxon Mobil’s Vice President expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to HE Shaikh Mohamed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Oil, for his warm reception and for the discussed topics that serve both sides and strengthen the historical relations between the two friendly countries.

The Supreme Committee for Natural Resources and Economic Security aims to preserve the Kingdom’s natural resources and works to develop energy sources and support the national economy.
