H.E. Shaikh Mohammed bin
Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Oil, met with
HE Mr.Abdulrahman Dahlan,
Minister of Economic Planning in the Kingdom of Malaysia. The bilateral meeting
comes within the framework of the auspicious visit made by His Majesty King
Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to the Kingdom of Malaysia where he led a large
delegation.
During the meeting, they
discussed joint-cooperation especially in the fields of oil and gas, oil
exploration, refining and liquefied gas, in addition to economic cooperation in
general.
The minister stressed that
there are great areas of economic and oil cooperation between the Kingdom of
Bahrain and the Kingdom of Malaysia, especially in the light of the growth of
relations between the two countries in various fields.
During the visit, a number
of memorandums of understanding were signed between the two countries, including
a memorandum of cooperation between the Oil and Gas Holding Company of the
Kingdom of Bahrain and the Malaysian Petronas Company.
