Oil Minister receives BP delegation

Minister of Oil His Excellency Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, received in his office at the National Oil and Gas Authority (NOGA), Mr. Christian Tabet, General Manager, BP Middle East, accompanied by senior BP Global officials, and accompanied by Engineer Abdul Majeed Al Qassab Chairman of BAC Jet Fuel Company.



The Minister welcomed the BP senior official and all attendees wishing them great success for achieving their desired goals during the visit. He discussed with the delegation several topics such as oil transport, development of aviation services at Bahrain International Airport (BIA), as well as the historical relations between BP and Bahraini oil companies. He praised the investment partnership between the two parties, the positive contribution of the company in enhancing mutual cooperation and promoting BIA in the region. They also discussed the BIA expansion programme undertaken by the Government of Bahrain and its implications in delivering outstanding services in providing fuel at the Bahrain airport on completion of work.



The BP General Manager and the visiting delegation expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the Oil Minister for the warm reception and meaningful discussions, which they said would strengthen the historical relations between the two sides. The delegation also congratulated the Minister on the occasion of his appointment as Minister of Oil. They wished him great success and Bahrain great progress and prosperity.
