Minister of Oil meets CEO of Arabian Exhibition Management

Minister of Oil His Excellency Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa met in his National Oil and Gas Authority (NOGA) office Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa - Chairman of Board of Directors of Arabian Exhibition Management (AEM), accompanied by Mr. Bakheet Al Rashidi - Chairman of Middle East Petrotech Conference 2016, President and Chief Executive Officer of Kuwait Petroleum International (KPI) and Mr. Stephen Key - CEO of AEM, Mr. Fawzi Al Shehabi - AEM Executive Director of Sales and Marketing and Dr. Ahmad Al-Qattan, KPI Conference Coordinator, Kuwait. NOGA General Secretary Dr. Ahmed A. Al Sharyan, General Manager, Strategies and Planning Mr. Ali A. Jabar Al Sawad, Legal Adviser Mr. Sulaiman Yahya Al Sari, and Engineer Ibrahim Talib - Executive Vice President of Refining and Marketing in Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco) were present at the meeting.



The Oil Minister discussed with the AEM delegation the progress in the preparations of the 10th Middle East Petrotech 2016, which is held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister, from September 26 to 29 at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre. The Minister expressed gratitude and appreciation to H.R.H. the Prime Minister for supporting the key oil event since its inception. Middle East Petrotech is held every two years in the Kingdom of Bahrain with the participation of several international and Arab and Gulf companies, showcasing the oil and gas sector in the Kingdom, in order to strengthen Bahrain's position as a regional venue for organising similar events based on the great success of Middle East Petrotech 2016, and other international oil events held in the Kingdom of Bahrain.



The officials of the Middle East Petrotech 2016 made a detailed presentation of Petrotech 2016 conference and exhibition, including the program schedule. They discussed all organizational matters and arrangements, as well as preparations made by the organizing committee in order to achieve success as with the previous conferences and exhibitions of the series held in Bahrain, which won the applause of all the participants.



The AEM Chairman and the accompanying delegation expressed their gratitude and appreciation to H.E. Shaikh Mohammed, the Oil Minister for agreeing to provide logistical support to ensure the success of the conference and exhibition and to help achieve the objectives pursued by the organizers of Petrotech 2016. The delegation praised the positive cooperation by NOGA for the international event.
