Minister of Energy receives CEO of Bahrain National Insurance Company

Minister of Energy His Excellency Dr. Abdul Hussain bin Ali Mirza received in his office at the National Oil and Gas Authority (NOGA) Mr. Sameer Al Wazzan, Chief Executive of Bahrain National Insurance Company accompanied by Mr. Redha Faraj, Director and board member and a number of senior officials. The meeting was attended by the NOGA General Secretary Dr. Ahmed Ali Al Sharyan and Dr. Heba Nayef, Vice President, Production and Transfer at Electricity and Water Authority (EWA).

The Minister welcomed Mr. Al Wazzan, and the accompanying delegation and praised their efforts and achievements of the Bahrain National Insurance Company, the pioneer in the field of insurance in the Kingdom. He said he was delighted to see the valuable role played by insurance companies operating in the region in supporting Bahrain’s positive role in serving national economy.

The delegation briefed the Minister on the work and programs of the insurance company and its future plans. The Minister discussed with them areas of cooperation with the energy sector, including oil and gas, electricity and water. He wished success to the company and to all insurance company employees, and more progress to all insurance companies.

Mr. Al Wazzan and the delegation members expressed gratitude and appreciation to the Minister for the warm reception, topics discussed and encouraging cooperation which led to closer ties between the energy sector and the insurance sector in Bahrain.
