Service Description

The Ministry of Oil and Environment provides this e-service to the owners of operating and licensed fuel stations in the Kingdom of Bahrain. This service aims to facilitate the process of submitting applications for additions or major modifications to operating fuel stations, ensuring their compliance with approved specifications and standards.

Scope of Service

This service includes the review and approval of applications for additions and major modifications to operating fuel stations, such as:

Adding new fuel storage tank.
Changing the type of fuel in existing tanks.
Adding new fuel dispenser.
Providing new entry/exit points for the station.
Adding, modifying, or demolishing a commercial complex (shops, restaurants, etc.).
Adding new canopy or expanding the existing one.
Radically changing the design of the station.

procedures

Enter the required data in the service application form.
Upload the engineering drawings to the application form in PDF/DWG/DGN format, ensuring their clarity and accuracy.
Review the entered data and attached files, then submit the application electronically.

Required Documents

Copy of the general engineering drawings of the station in PDF/DWG/DGN format.
A Letter from the station owner stating the type of request (addition, modification or removal).
Copy of the land title deed document of the station or lease agreement specifying the purpose of the lease (Construction and operation of a fuel station).
Valid land survey certificate.
Engineering drawings related to the request (with the location of the addition, modification or removal specified on the drawings).
Copy of the authorization letter if the applicant is authorized by the owner.

Terms and Conditions(Updateable)

This service precedes the application to the Banayat system to issue a building permit
All information provided in the application must be accurate and complete.
All required documents must be valid.
Engineering drawings must comply with the approved technical specifications and standards.

Service Duration

10 working days from the date of receipt of the complete application with all required documents.

No fees are required for this service.
