National Oil and Gas Authority to cooperate with Egyptian petroleum projects and Petrojet technical investment

Dr. Ahmed Ali Al Sharyan, General Secretary of the National Oil and Gas Authority (NOGA) received on Tuesday, March 9 a Petrojet delegation, a technical and investment company in Egypt, headed by Mr. Mohammad El-Sherbini deputy chief of the company's overseas branches.



The General Secretary welcomed the visiting officials to the Kingdom and thanked them for their active participation and for continuing to choose Bahrain to host Geo. He presented to the delegation in detail the strategic oil sector projects currently in various stages of implementation and completion in the country, including the Bahrain Refinery Project, AB Pipeline Project, LNG Facility and Banagas Expansion project, stressing the Kingdom's commitment to complete all projects on schedule. Dr. Al Sharyan also expressed his happiness on the establishment of a new petrochemical plant in the Arab Republic of Egypt.



Mr. El-Sherbini and the accompanying delegation expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the NOGA General Secretary for the warm reception. They gave a detailed presentation of the services offered by Petrojet, noting that the company had 30,000 professionals working for it. The company had recently implemented six projects with in cooperation with Saudi Aramco and, most recently participating in ‘Yasref’. The company provided a variety of services, including pipeline work at all stages, establishment of offshore platforms. The company has participated in the construction of the new Suez Canal. It has set up LNG reception stations in Egypt, and various other projects such as a desulfurization plant with KOC Kuwait, projects in the United Arab Emirates, Egypt and recently won a contract in Iraq to build a gas-processing plant of international standards.
