His Excellency Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa, Minister of Oil,
received in his office at the National Oil and Gas Authority Dr. Jamil Al-
Baqawi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Council of Engineers.
During the visit, His Excellency the Minister was honoured when the Chairman of
the Board of the Saudi Council of Engineers presented him with the Council's
membership shield in recognition of the role and efforts exerted by His
Excellency for the promotion and advancement of the oil and gas sector. The
meeting was attended by Dr. Ahmad Ali Al-Sharyan, Undersecretary of the
National Oil and Gas Authority and Mr. Ali Abdul Jabbar Al-Sawad.
His Excellency the Minister expressed his thanks and appreciation to the
Chairman of the Board of the Saudi Council of Engineers for this recognition
and his happiness for being a member of
the Saudi Council of Engineers. He wished more and more successes and
development of the Saudi Council to realize the aspirations they seek in the
service of the national economy of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Minister was acquainted with the activities and programs being
implemented by the Saudi Council of Engineers. The meeting also discussed ways
and means of cooperation between the National Oil and Gas Authority and the
Saudi Council of Engineers.
On his part, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Council
of Engineers expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to His Excellence
the Minister of Oil for the hospitality and the issues discussed which were
designed to boost and consolidate the cooperation between the National Oil and
Gas Authority and the Saudi Council of Engineers.
