Oil Minister meets with Jordanian Energy and Mineral Resources Minister

Dr. Mohammed Mubarak Bin Daina, Minister of Oil and Environment, and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, met with Dr. Saleh Kharabsheh, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources in Jordan.

 

The minister affirmed Bahrain's keenness, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the government's directives headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to consolidate partnership with Jordan in energy, environment and climate to achieve sustainable development goals.

 

Dr. Daina reviewed the upcoming programs and projects Bapco Energies, headed by Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty’s Representative for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Oil and Gas Holding Company (Bapco Energies), highlighting the Kingdom's vital projects that focused on developing the oil sector and supporting energy companies in Bahrain.   

 

The meeting discussed environmental and climate projects, and ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries in various environmental and climatic fields to reduce the effects of climate change, improving water, air and soil quality, and creating a healthy balance between industrial development and preserving environment and climate.

 

Dr. Kharabsheh hailed the Bahraini-Jordanian relations and its developments under the leadership of both governments.

 

He affirmed the importance of enhancing cooperation and wished for more progress and prosperity for both countries. ​
