Minister of Oil participates in the Bahrain Bay Geo-Economic Forum Sessions

H.E. Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa, Minister of Oil, participated in the Bahrain Bay Geo-Economic Forum sessions organized by International Institute for Strategic Studies “IISS” (Middle East) in the Kingdom of Bahrain during the period from the 16 - 17 September 2017 at the Four Seasons hotel, in the presence of the business leaders and the senior government officials to discuss the new economic and developmental topics in the wake of the continuous political variables, and its impact on the national economics, the energy policies, the commercial exchange and the business strategies, under the title "Adaption to the New Reality: the Energy’s Future and the Climate Change Agenda”.

During the session, each of the following have given his speech: The Head of the Oil Markets Unit at the International Energy Agency (IEA), Mr. Neil Atkinson; the Head of the Climate, Biodiversity, Water, and Environmental Management in the Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), Dr. Simon Bakel, and the Managing Director and the Head of the Strategy at the Japanese Institute of Energy Economics, Dr. Ken Koyama.
