Environment Minister attends 50th anniversary of Arab Energy Fund in Saudi Arabia

​Dr. Mohamed bin Mubarak Bin Daina, Minister of Oil and Environment and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, attended the 50th anniversary of the Arab Energy Fund. The event highlighted the fund's achievements and its role in supporting the energy sector in the Middle East and North Africa.



The minister emphasised the fund's vital role in developing the hydrocarbon and energy industries in the Arab world through its financial, advisory, and research contributions, as well as its economic studies.


He also noted the fund’s support for strategic public and private sector projects with sustainable developmental, social, and economic impacts on the Arab region and beyond.


The Arab Energy Fund, formerly known as APICORP, was established in 1975 and is owned by the ten member states of the Organisation of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries.
