Mohammed Mubarak Bin Daina, Minister of Oil and Environment, and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs received Steven C. Bondy, US Ambassador to Bahrain.
The meeting discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in in topics of common interest.
The minister affirmed Bahrain’s keenness to enhance the longstanding cooperation, which contributed to many achievements in various sectors, especially in oil and environment.
Dr. Bin Daina reviewed the most prominent developments in the oil and gas sector and environmental initiatives aimed at reducing carbon dioxide emissions and removing carbon in various operational processes.
He noted that reducing carbon dioxide emissions contributes to promoting progress programs and achieves energy security, sustainability, climate preservation and access to zero neutrality by 2060.
The two sides also discussed ways to enhance partnership in future projects with US companies.
The ambassador affirmed his country’s keenness to enhance cooperation in various sectors.
